NMPP Operations 1.6

The software provides three core capabilities for municipal coordination: mutual aid, outage reporting, and generation notification.

• Mutual aid coordination: The system enables users to contact the NMPP Mutual Aid Coordinator by phone or by submitting a request. If time is limited, users can describe the equipment and personnel needed, enabling the coordinator to identify resources before reaching out to the community in need.
• Outage reporting: Users can report a system outage with a single action, and the application forwards the outage location to the appropriate personnel. This supports event tracking and subsequent follow-up steps.
• Generation notification: The Generation Notification feature informs NMPP and TEA that municipal generation is in operation and explains the rationale. This notice helps stakeholders adjust day-ahead and real-time operations and supports environmental tracking and financial settlements.
